    Acceptance of Terms

    By using DaktariSheba — whether through our website or mobile app — you agree to these terms. DaktariSheba is operated by KiyanSolutions UG. If you don't agree with any part of these terms, please stop using the platform.

    What DaktariSheba Does

    DaktariSheba is a healthcare platform serving three types of users: patients, doctors, and ambulance service providers.

    For patients

    • Search for doctors and book appointments
    • Have online consultations
    • Receive and manage digital prescriptions
    • Store and access health records, lab reports, and vitals
    • Track vaccinations and medication schedules
    • Use AI-powered health chat and symptom triage
    • Scan prescriptions and test reports using OCR
    • Request ambulance services
    • Manage your family's health in one place
    • Find blood donors and request blood donation

    For doctors

    • Manage appointments and patient consultations
    • Issue digital prescriptions
    • Access patient-shared health records during consultations
    • Use AI-assisted prescription suggestions (doctor-facing AI tools)
    • Manage availability and chamber schedules

    For ambulance service providers

    • List ambulance services and manage availability
    • Receive and respond to patient emergency requests

    Your Account

    Some features require an account. Keep your login credentials private. Make sure the information you provide during registration is accurate and up to date.

    Medical Disclaimer

    DaktariSheba is a technology platform — we connect you with doctors, but we don't provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment ourselves. The health information on our platform is for general awareness only. Always consult your doctor before making any medical decisions.

    If you believe you are having a medical emergency, call 999 or go to the nearest hospital immediately. Do not rely on the platform or AI features for emergency care.

    AI-Powered Features

    DaktariSheba includes AI-assisted features for both patients and doctors, powered by third-party AI services:

    • AI Health Chat and symptom triage — powered by OpenAI (GPT models)
    • Voice input and voice chat — powered by OpenAI Whisper
    • Lab report and prescription scanning (OCR) — powered by Google Gemini
    • Doctor AI prescription suggestions — powered by OpenAI

    By using these features you agree to the following:

    • Not a medical device. AI features are decision-support tools for general informational use only. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
    • AI can make mistakes. AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete. Always verify AI-generated information with a qualified healthcare professional before acting on it.
    • No emergency use. Do not use AI features in a medical emergency. Call 999 or go to your nearest hospital immediately.
    • Third-party AI processing. Health queries, uploaded documents, and voice inputs are processed by Google LLC and OpenAI, L.L.C. under our Data Processing Agreements. Direct identifiers (name, phone, email) are never included in AI prompts.
    • Your responsibility. You are responsible for the information you provide to AI features and for any decisions made based on AI outputs.
    • Consent required. Patients must accept the AI feature consent disclosure before using AI-powered functionality. You may withdraw consent from in-app settings or by contacting support.

    What You Agree Not to Do

    • Use the platform for anything illegal
    • Pretend to be someone else
    • Upload false or misleading information
    • Try to access parts of the platform you're not authorized to use
    • Disrupt or tamper with the platform
    • Scrape or collect other users' data

    Roles & Responsibilities

    Doctors

    • You must hold a valid BMDC registration to register as a doctor on DaktariSheba.
    • You are solely responsible for the medical advice, diagnoses, and prescriptions you provide to patients.
    • AI prescription suggestions are decision-support tools only — you must review and take clinical responsibility for any prescription you issue.
    • You must keep patient information confidential and use it only for the purpose of treatment.

    Ambulance service providers

    • You must provide accurate vehicle and service information.
    • You are responsible for the safety and welfare of patients during transport.
    • Location sharing while on duty is required for dispatch and patient tracking features.

    Appointments & Payments

    Appointments depend on doctor availability. Each doctor sets their own cancellation and rescheduling rules. Consultation fees are shown at the time of booking. DaktariSheba may charge a service fee for facilitating the booking.

    • Refund eligibility, if any, depends on the applicable doctor, clinic, payment partner, and booking status.
    • Missed appointments, late arrivals, and last-minute cancellations may be marked as completed or non-refundable based on the provider policy shown during booking.
    • If a payment fails, is reversed, or is flagged as suspicious, we may pause related bookings or wallet credits until verification is complete.

    Platform Availability

    We aim to keep DaktariSheba available and secure, but uninterrupted access is not guaranteed. The platform may be unavailable due to maintenance, network issues, device limitations, third-party provider outages, or events beyond our reasonable control.

    We may update, suspend, or discontinue specific features at any time to improve safety, legal compliance, or service quality.

    Intellectual Property

    All content, trademarks, and logos on DaktariSheba belong to KiyanSolutions UG or their respective owners. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

    Limitation of Liability

    DaktariSheba and KiyanSolutions UG are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from your use of the platform. Our total liability is limited to what you've paid us in the 12 months before your claim.

    Account Termination

    We can suspend or close your account if you violate these terms. You can delete your account at any time using in-app account deletion controls or by emailing [email protected].

    Changes to These Terms

    We may update these terms occasionally. When we make significant changes, we'll notify you by email or through the platform. If you keep using DaktariSheba after changes, you're accepting the updated terms.

    Governing Law

    These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes fall under the jurisdiction of courts in Dhaka.
